Neil brings a unique blend of skills to every customer relationship which allows him to excel as a recognized leader in the energy efficiency industry. Neil’s foundation in financial management was developed at Thunderbird’s School of Global Management and refined while he worked with Enron. At Enron, Neil successfully identified, structured and executed complex energy infrastructure development projects in many different international energy markets. Following his desire to be an entrepreneur, Neil completed his Certificate in Energy Management and founded Greenlight Energy that successfully scoped and installed high return energy efficiency solutions to customers throughout the southeastern United States. His successful business led to the opportunity to build and manage Ecos Consulting’s Seattle office which he led from a start up to the largest third party utility energy efficiency program implementer in the region. As the Founder and General Manager of Resound Energy, Neil has provided the vision and energy for Resound to become the premier LED and controls provider in the Northwest. His constant focus on the customer ensures that customer service and the best ROI possible are always first and foremost in any customer relationship.

Neil is the quintessential Washingtonian, a blend of modern technology and business, family values and an appreciation of the all that Cascadia has to offer. In his off time, Neil can be found skiing with his family, climbing Rainier or cheering on the ‘Hawks!

Joe Gaffney

Originally from the east coast, Joe relocated to California after graduating from Columbia University with a MPA in Environmental Science and Policy to pursue a career in the burgeoning California energy market. He worked with regional utilities designing and managing commercial energy efficiency programs as well as providing technical leadership to regional organizations pursuing clean energy strategies to reduce the adverse health impacts of being located adjacent to large ports and industrial operations. After a brief stop in Massachusets working for an alternative fuels lobbyist he moved to the Seattle area to run utility rebate programs for Ecova, headquartered in Portland, OR. After successfully launching programs for Puget Sound Energy, Seattle City Light, Seattle Public Utilities and Detroit Edison he moved into the Sustainable Solutions group where he managed relationships with Fortune 500 clients. Joe joined Resound in the summer of 2012, managing the operations and installation side of the business, focused on driving change in his local community. His commitment to quality and customer service has shaped Resound’s market delivery and established it as a leader and change agent in the industry.

As an avid outdoorsman, Joe spends much of his time away from the office on his sail boat or in the back country of the Cascade Mountain Range.
