Museum Place EV Charging: Apartment Installation in Portland
Resound Energy completed the Museum Place EV charging installation in Portland, Oregon, adding 12 Wallbox Pulsar Pro Level 2 charging stations at Museum Place Apartments.
The project combined electrical assessment, dedicated charging circuits, and network connectivity with SWTCH charging management software. Resound coordinated the work from initial planning and permitting through installation and activation, bringing convenient onsite charging to the community.
Project Highlights:
- Installed 12 Wallbox Pulsar Pro charging stations with SWTCH software activation and first-year software licensing
- Completed a 30-day load study to evaluate existing electrical capacity and inform the installation
- Installed 12 dedicated charging circuits with new breakers, conduit, and wiring
- Completed concrete coring to route electrical infrastructure to charging locations
- Integrated a cellular-to-Wi-Fi gateway and wireless access points to support charger connectivity
- Completed parking stall painting and striping, permitting, and commissioning of all 12 ports
Oregon EV Charging Rebates and Project Investment
Resound helped Museum Place Apartments capitalize on available rebates from the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), securing funding to offset nearly 75% of project costs. These incentives significantly reduced the property’s investment, making it more affordable to bring convenient onsite EV charging to residents.
Museum Place demonstrates Resound’s ability to bring electrical construction, charging hardware, software, and incentive planning together in one coordinated project. The resulting installation adds a practical resident amenity while giving the property a connected system for managing its EV charging stations.
