EVODS Wenatchee: Tesla Supercharger Installation

Resound Energy partnered with EVODS Inc. to bring 6 publicly accessible Tesla Superchargers to Wenatchee, Washington, providing the electrical infrastructure, civil construction, and utility coordination needed to bring the charging site online.

A significant part of the project involved coordinating with Douglas County PUD to establish a new electrical service capable of supporting the chargers. This required a new utility vault, underground boring, and an 800A electrical distribution system to supply power to two Tesla Power Cabinets and six Superchargers.

Resound worked closely with EVODS and the utility throughout the project, helping navigate service requirements, coordinate construction, and keep the installation on schedule.

Project Highlights:

  • Installed 6 Tesla Superchargers and 2 Tesla Power Cabinets for public DC Fast Charging
  • Coordinated with Douglas County PUD to establish a new electrical service for the charging site
  • Installed a new 800A, 480V three-phase electrical distribution system
  • Completed approximately 130 feet of underground boring and installed a new utility vault
  • Installed feeder circuits, DC bus circuits, and electrical connections to all six Superchargers
  • Completed excavation, backfill, concrete equipment pads, protective bollards, asphalt restoration, and ADA striping
  • Installed additional site lighting, including new light poles, fixtures, and photocell controls

Client Testimonial

“When EVODS set out to bring DC fast charging to our Wenatchee site, we needed a partner who could move quickly without cutting corners. Resound Energy was exactly that.

What stood out most was how they handled utility coordination, often the hardest part of any DCFC project. Resound managed that process from start to finish, kept it moving, and spared us the back-and-forth that can stall a project for months. Throughout, communication was clear and proactive: we always knew where things stood, and when issues came up, they brought solutions, not problems.

The installation was clean and professional, and Resound delivered all six chargers on time. Their crew respected our site, kept disruption to a minimum, and handed everything over fully documented and ready to go.

I’ve built a lot of companies over 30 years, and it’s rare to find a contractor who is both technically strong and genuinely easy to work with. Resound is both. For anyone considering a DC fast charging installation, I’d recommend them without hesitation, and we look forward to working with them on future EVODS sites.”

Bringing Public DC Fast Charging to Wenatchee

The EVODS Wenatchee project brought together the electrical, civil, and utility coordination needed to turn a proposed charging site into a fully operational public charging destination. With the Tesla Supercharger installation completed on schedule, EVODS can now offer six DC Fast Charging stations to drivers traveling through Wenatchee and the surrounding area.

The project also marked the beginning of a strong working relationship between EVODS and Resound Energy, with both teams looking forward to collaborating on future Tesla Supercharger installations and public charging locations.
