EV Charging Station Infrastructure
The Postmark Apartments is a 243-unit urban multifamily midrise apartment property in Shoreline WA, managed by Avenue 5.
The property’s 240V electrical capacity was fully subscribed, meaning that without electrical infrastructure upgrades, they were not able to install any level 2 electric vehicle chargers.
Resound worked with building owners and engineers to design a solution that stepped down available 480V power from the main distribution gear with a new transformer, sub panel, and meter set, providing the property with capacity for up to 20 level 2 EV charging stations using power/load sharing.
In addition to the EV infrastructure, Resound Energy Services™ installed four Wallbox Pulsar Plus 9.2KW EV chargers in the guest parking stalls of their garage. The property has seen improved tenant acquisition and additional revenue streams of approximately $800 per month since the chargers were commissioned.
