Equity Residential (EQR) is a Chicago based real estate investment trust that owns over 400 properties in 14 states. Resound Energy and EQR starting working together in 2011 to review their entire Seattle portfolio. In 2012, Resound Energy completed projects at six different buildings accounting for over $44,000 in annual energy savings at a combined payback of 10 months!
Resound Energy was able to work with Marty McFadden, Facility Manager of Olive 8, to assess the site, propose and implement a project that will generate significant energy and monetary savings for the building owners.
Shelby Apartments are located in the trendy Seattle neighborhood of Belltown. Amanda Wagner, Business Manager, was concerned with the common area lighting bill but most importantly, concerned with the safety in the poorly lit garage. Resound was hired to help.
CBRE turned to Resound Energy as its energy service partner to assess the facility and provide a plan to improve common area lighting. Resound Energy laid out a two stage plan for CBRE including a 560 fixture LED retrofit that Resound Energy completed in late 2012 and a lighting controls project that will be completed in early 2013. The projects will collectively save CBRE’s client TIAA Cref $61,000 annually.
Resound Energy and VMMC starting working together in mid-2012 with the goal of identifying opportunities at the Federal Way clinic to improve lighting efficiency and quality. Resound developed and implemented a project for VMMC that removed nearly 2,000 T12 lamps from service!
Urban Dogs, a retailer located in Bellevue, WA, leases a 1,400 sf store in Bellevue Square Mall. Resound Energy designed and installed LED lighting in addition to managing the entire grant process through Puget Sound Energy (PSE).
Resound Energy was able to provide a comprehensive and creative solution that would not ordinarily include Puget Sound Energy’s enhanced rebate incentive program qualify for the enhanced rebate incentives saving the customer thousands of dollars compared to other LED retrofit outfits. The lighting throughout the warehouse improved dramatically by improving light levels and light color of their high bay high pressure sodium fixtures.
Alliance Packaging was looking for a trusted partner to guide the selection of the best quality high bay lighting technology that incorporated variable occupancy sensing and provided the best financial investment. Resound Energy was the chosen partner.
The Promenade bakery is a large facility with over 1,100 fixtures illuminating complex production lines that rarely stop. Resound Energy worked hand in hand with the facility engineer to develop the LED scope that would provide the best light quality which generating the best financial return for the company.
